Frequently asked questions

What you should know.

Practical questions about how I work with WordPress. If you still have one, send me a message.

Why WordPress and not a modern framework?

WordPress remains the strongest option when clients need editorial autonomy. Built correctly — with native blocks, no heavy page builders, and clean architecture — it competes in performance with any modern stack.

Do you work with pre-made themes or fully custom builds?

Always custom. Commercial themes carry unnecessary code, dependencies, and security risks. I build every site on a minimal base with custom Gutenberg blocks designed for your brand.

How long does a WordPress project take?

A typical corporate site takes 4 to 8 weeks: 1 for discovery, 2-3 for design, 2-3 for development, and 1 for QA and launch. Larger projects (e-commerce, multi-language) add 4 to 8 additional weeks.

What about maintenance after launch?

I offer an optional monthly plan that includes WordPress and plugin updates, uptime monitoring, backups, security patches, and up to 2 hours of minor changes. You can also manage it internally with the documentation I provide.

Can I migrate my current site without losing SEO?

Yes. Migrations include 1:1 URL mapping, 301 redirects, schema preservation, and post-launch validation in Search Console. Historically, sites maintain or improve organic traffic after migration.
